Turn Key Systems offers a variety of panel styles and specifications. Each panel style offers a specific value to our customers in terms of price value and energy saving.

The State of California is leading the nation in requiring panel specification to the standard of R28 for coolers and R36 for freezers. Prior to this standard, the typical panels R-value for cooler was R15 and R28 for freezers.

Panels can be constructed in a range of thicknesses and using different insulation materials - insulation material is available in both Polystyrene and Polyurethane. These specifications will determine the panel's R-value.

The R-value will determine the running time of your refrigeration system, which can translate into savings on your utility expenditures. The significance of a better R-value is the reduction of the mechanical system required to run your refrigeration system; better R-value requires smaller condensing systems, ultimately reducing the cost of your investment.

Cam-Loc panels have been the standard of the industry and available in polyurethane and EPS foam; except in California where EPS Cam-Loc panels are no longer practical due to the required R-values. Cam-Loc panels are excellent for commercial accounts with the advantage of faster assembly on site. These panels are available with kin-dried Douglas fir wood frame perimeter. We also offer high-density foam-in-place polyurethane (no wood), ideal for freezer applications. These panels are 95% closed-cell. The 26-gauge steel and panel are joined together and fastened with steel cam-loc action and steel encased pins.

H-Batten panels are ideal for industrial accounts. These panels offer tremendous value and are available in both EPS and urethane. These have spline and batten joints, which ease the installation process.

At Turn Key Systems, we offer refrigeration and panel systems that can be installed indoor or outdoor, offering more flexibility for your refrigerated storage requirements. We can design a system that stands independently or attaches to your building.

The other big advantage of our industrial walk-in box is the ability to span over 36’ indoor and 28’ 2” outdoor without steel support or roof hangers.

The panels are designed for a long life of heavy use. We back this up with up to ten year warranty. Our panels have been tested to meet any condition from –50°ƒ to 200°ƒ. They meet and often exceed fire codes with a Class 1 foam offering a flame spread of 25 or less.
